Recently Olivia Bentley (Liv) revealed

that she had alopecia and shared

how she felt as she travels this journey.

I was invited to take part in the Made in Chelsea

storyline to feature women affected by alopecia.

It was interesting being on set with so many people doing so many different roles. The amount of time it took was quite exhausting but the vibe was always upbeat and positive. I don’t watch Made in Chelsea so had I no idea about the people in the show.

Liv was totally charming and very down to earth. She made us feel very welcome and the shoot really empowered me as a bald woman. It is important to use social platforms and media to educate and raise awareness of conditions that can be very uncomfortable to discuss, and it also challenges our perception of beauty.

Liv, who is a photographer, organised a photo shoot which will also be featured in Cosmopolitan UK magazine.

The day would not have been the success that it was without the women who were part of the whole campaign. Nichola, Amy, Phoebe, Farah and Sara

Thank you Liv Bentley, Made in Chelsea and Cosmopolitan magazine for taking on such a sensitive subject.
